I work hard to ensure each move and home purchase or sale is as smooth and pleasant as it can be. I know that moving and the home buying and the home selling process are stressful, and my goal is to take some of that stress away.

Background information

My love of life in the natural world comes from my Bachelors degree in Marine Biology and Environmental Studies from WWSC. This led to a scuba diving enjoyment, skiing, mountain hiking and camping experiences with my three sons and daughter. My kids learned to enjoy car camping, two weeks twice a year, from the Gulf of Baja to Banff and Jasper. The geology is amazing. We all have memories to last a lifetime. Yes, we actually had a VW van!

My solid business acumen stems from a Masters degree in Finance from the University of Puget Sound, along with over 30 years of financial and business experience. I started United Pacific Mortgage in 2000 and sold it in 2005. We originating over 4,500 mortgages, around $850,000,000 in volume, sold in 2005 and managed 120 loan officers and staff of about 25 people.

Its true; I do understand the mortgage business inside out as well as the real estate business. That is a level of expertise you will find extremely useful as you pursue your home ownership goals. It means you benefit from a superior understanding of your home buying experience; how to recognize and resolve issues as soon as possible- frequently without you even knowing there was an issue.  And that’s what you want isn’t it?

Real estate investment experience

As a real estate investor I acquired ownership of 50 + rental units at height of my glory.My portfolio consisted of single family residences, duplex, triplex, fourplex and multifamily properties up to twelve units as well as property management.  I understand your real estate investment property needs and the environment which will lead to your success as a real estate investor. Now is one of the best times in years to invest in real estate.

Mortgage experience

I have been helping my clients with their real estate and purchase money mortgages since 1988.  In 2000 I started United Pacific Mortgage, a mortgage bank, and grew it from three guys mortgage to over 120 loan officers who generated over 4,500 mortgages, around $850,000,000 in volume and sold the business in 2005. I managed an advertising budget of $70,000 per month.  i understand advertising very well and my clients benefit from that knowledge.

In the early 1980s I authored a real estate investment analysis program which sold from here to Australia. That was a learning experience which lasts a lifetime.
